The Bantul Regency in Yogyakarta now has the Museum of Java History in Parangtritis Road. The regency’s tourism office hopes that the museum will attract more tourist to Bantul.
“One of the gateways to Bantul is Parangtritis. The museum itu can appeal tourist,” Bantul Tourism Office chief Kwintarto Heru Prabowo said on Sunday, April 21.
The history museum is home to numerous collections and artifacts as well as documentation of the Javanese culture. The museum is managed by private parties.
